Fits

1988 to 1993 only, TBI 5.0/5.7 V8. NGK sells a separate set for the 1994 to 1998 trucks, this one does not fit those, check your year before ordering.

Why it matters

Wire insulation degrades with age and under-hood heat, leading to misfires and rough running that can be hard to pin down. High running temperatures here mean this wears faster than it would in a milder climate.
