Fits
1988 to 1995 C/K 1500 to 3500 trucks with TBI 5.0/5.7 V8 engines. TBI only - 1996 to 1998 Vortec trucks use a different pump.
Why it matters
Same in-tank heat-soak problem as the later Vortec pump, and just as common a failure on these earlier trucks. If the truck is hard to start hot, loses power on the move, or won't start after sitting in the sun, this is the usual culprit.
