Quantity

Front brake rotors, pair, 6-lug, for the Chevrolet/GMC K1500.

Part numbers

TRQ BKA16953.

Fits

K1500 4WD, 6-lug wheel pattern, 1988-1998.

Why it matters

Warped or worn rotors show up as pedal pulsation and longer stopping distances, especially noticeable on a 4WD truck doing real work. This is the 6-lug rotor specific to 4WD trucks, not the same part as the 2WD version.

What you get

Two front rotors.

Not sure it's right for your truck? Send us your VIN and we'll confirm before you order.

While you're in there

The wheel is already off. Everything else in the front brake system is right in front of you:

  • Caliper Hardware Kit — corroded or seized caliper bolts cause uneven pad wear and a dragging brake. If you haven't replaced these, do it now.
  • Front Wheel Hub Bearing Assembly (ABS) / Non-ABS — a worn hub bearing hums and growls at speed. This is the moment to check it, not six months later.
  • Braided Stainless Front Brake Lines — old rubber lines balloon under pressure and give you a soft, inconsistent pedal. Worth doing at the same time as new rotors.
  • OBS-UAE HD Front Brake Upgrade Kit — if you're already doing the rotors, this is the point where upgrading to K2500/K3500-spec calipers, pads, and master cylinder makes sense. Bigger stopping power, same bolt-on fitment.
